Who Am I?
Hello, I’m Marga Davis, a proud Karoo girl from the Eastern Cape of South Africa, where I had the privilege of growing up on a sheep farm near Aberdeen.
With roots in Bavaria, my parents brought a rich cultural heritage into my life, and I’m fortunate to be fluent in German. This skill has been invaluable when working with my many German-speaking clients. I’m a dual citizen of both South Africa and Germany, and I love both countries equally.
I settled in the Sundays River Valley, in the heart of Addo’s citrus farming region, where I raised four children. During their younger years, I embraced the bush life as an Honorary Ranger at the Greater Addo Elephant National Park. As they grew older, I pursued further training and became a National Field Guide, offering private tours throughout the region.
Once my children left for university, I expanded my horizons and began guiding clients across Southern Africa. With over 25 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, I am passionate about wildlife, people, and the beauty of both Africa and the world.
As a seasoned travel consultant and nature enthusiast, I take great joy in offering clients memorable, high-quality experiences. Whether planning adventures in new places or guiding clients through nature’s wonders, my goal is always to ensure they return for more. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, visiting national parks, watching wildlife documentaries, taking nature walks, and continuously expanding my knowledge of flora, fauna, and emerging travel destinations.
